Brief
AI-powered corrosion detection and ship maintenance platform on Azure.
An AI-powered corrosion detection system for ship maintenance operations. The platform analyzes images of ship surfaces to detect corrosion, calculate affected areas, estimate repair zones, and return annotated images and structured results via APIs for downstream maintenance systems.
Deployed on Microsoft Azure using containerized services and serverless components for scalability and operational reliability.
Problem
Manual corrosion inspection on ships is time-consuming and error-prone. The project aimed to automate corrosion identification and assessment, enabling faster maintenance planning and cost estimation.
